At Coñuepan & Millaquir Ltda we treat your personal data with the care and cultural pertinence our work demands. This policy explains what data we collect through this site, why, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 21,719 on the protection of personal data.
1. Who is responsible
Coñuepan & Millaquir Ltda, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 77.676.083-8, domiciled at Av. Caupolicán N° 110, Temuco, La Araucanía, Chile. For any matter concerning your personal data, write to venancio@conuepanmillaquir.cl.
2. What data we process
When you use the contact form, we collect the data you provide:
- · Full name
- · Email address
- · Organization (company, community or NGO), if you indicate one
- · The practice area you are asking about
- · The content of your message
When your inquiry is transmitted, the providers that process it (Cloudflare and Resend) may log technical data such as your IP address and the date and time of submission, for security purposes. We do not store that data in a database of our own.
About sensitive data: given the nature of our work, your message could reveal sensitive information (for example, your ethnic origin or a legal situation). We ask that you include only what is necessary to orient your inquiry; we will treat that information with reinforced safeguards and solely to assist you.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Handling and answering your inquiry | Your consent (Art. 12) |
| Managing a potential professional engagement | Pre-contractual measures / performance of the engagement |
| Keeping accounting and tax records, if you become a client | Legal obligation |
We do not use your data to send you advertising, nor for purposes other than the above.
4. Who we share it with
When you submit the form, your message goes to a function on our own domain (on Cloudflare) that delivers it by email, through Resend, to our inbox venancio@conuepanmillaquir.cl. It is not stored in a database. To manage or delete your data, or exercise your rights, write to that same address. We do not sell data.
We rely on processors acting under contract and following our instructions: Resend (email delivery) and Cloudflare (hosting and the function that processes the form). The site's fonts and styles are served from our own domain, without loading third-party resources. These providers process data outside Chile, under the standard contractual clauses for international transfers contemplated by Law No. 21,719.
5. For how long
If your inquiry does not lead to a professional engagement, we keep your data for a maximum of 12 months and then delete or anonymize it. If you become a client, we keep it for the duration of the engagement and for the periods required by law (for example, accounting and tax documentation, six years — Chilean Code of Commerce, art. 44).
6. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and blocking, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to venancio@conuepanmillaquir.cl. We respond within 30 calendar days (extendable once by 30 more days). Rectification, erasure and objection are always free of charge; access is free at least once per quarter.
7. Automated decisions
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
8. Where your data comes from
We process only the data you provide to us directly through the contact form.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures proportional to the risk: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access restricted to those who must handle your inquiry, and the principle of requesting only the data that is necessary.
10. Cookies and third parties
This site uses no analytics or advertising-tracking cookies. Fonts and styles are served from our own domain: as you browse, your IP address is processed only by our hosting provider (Cloudflare), for security purposes.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will always publish the current version with its update date.
12. Complaints
If you believe we have not respected your rights, you may file a complaint with Chile's Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales).
This policy is based on Chilean Law No. 21,719 and describes the current personal-data processing of Coñuepan & Millaquir Ltda. It does not constitute legal advice. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version governs.
